Lease of land to rear of 5-79 Hazel Road adjoining Ludwell Valley Park
Notice is hereby given that Exeter City Council intends to:
- Grant an 25 year lease on land at the rear of 5-79 Hazel Road adjoining Ludwell Valley Park for the construction of a substation (4m x 4.2m) and associated cables leading to the substation.
Background
In April 2023 approval was granted under Delegated Authority to grant a 25-year lease to National Grid Electricity Distribution (South West) plc to build a substation (4m x 4.2m) and lay the associated cables on and across amenity land at the rear of 5-79 Hazel Road adjoining Ludwell Valley Park.
Once the cabling has been laid the land will be fully restored.
