2. Next steps
The consultation that took place for 6 weeks between 11 March 2025 and 22 April 2025 generated 315 responses to the survey. During the consultation we carried out four focus groups with people who use Northbrook pool regularly. 35 people attended these focus groups in total.
We also spoke with people who requested a phone call with us, to tell us more about how a potential closure would impact them and the community around Northbrook. Additionally, we also spoke with schools who use the pool for swimming lessons.
A report will be written and publicly shared by July 2025 which will detail exactly how a potential closure would impact the people who use Northbrook swimming pool.
All of the information provided by people during the consultation (survey, focus groups, conversations over the phone) to identify the most common themes, giving a clear and accurate representation of what people told us through the consultation.
