Public Open Space Disposal - Land at Exhibition Fields, Exeter EX4 8NT
Notice is hereby given that Exeter City Council propose to enter into a short term lease of land at Exhibition Fields, Exeter EX4 8NT to Rugby World Cup (England 2025) Ltd (RWC) to enable their exclusive use of Pitch 1 (the premises) for training purposes connected to the Rugby World Cup event being hosted in the City in August and September 2025.
RWC require the premises to be fenced to provide an exclusive and secure pitch on which international rugby teams can train during the tournament. The fencing will be removed at the end of the lease period, 11 August to 30 September 2025, after the tournament and any reinstatement works have been undertaken. During the lease period the public will not be able to access the premises.
The remainder of the open space at Exhibition Fields will be unaffected by this short-term disposal and remains available for use by the public. The premises will revert to open space at the end of the lease.
