Firstly check your emails, including Junk or Spam folders, for the system generated PIN you will have received. We would recommend checking the email address you signed up with as this will be the one you need to access your account. If you are still having issues you can call or email our Human Resources Support Services team who will be able to assist.

You will be asked to provide details of your current employment and all previous employment under the Previous Employment section. We recommend that within this section you account for any gaps in your employment history. Within the Supporting Statement section we advise to refer to examples and experience that are relevant to the role you are applying for. You do not need to detail your entire employment history in the Supporting Statement section.

Use examples outside of the workplace if possible. Many skills listed on the Person Specification are skills that are developed across all aspects of life and not just at work, for example organisational skills. You may choose examples of organisational skills developed when studying, volunteering, through family life or personal interests. The key is demonstrate you have these skills and that you are able to transfer them to the role you are applying for.

All shortlisting is carried out once the vacancy has closed. If you do not hear from us within 3 weeks of the closing date please assume you have not been shortlisted. Unfortunately due to the volume of applications received we cannot contact applicants individually to notify them of this. If you are shortlisted you can normally expect to be contacted 1-2 weeks before the specified interview date or within 3 weeks of the closing date.

We do not request any references until an applicant has been verbally offered and verbally accepted the role. As such no references will be sought unless you are the offered the role.

This depends on the role you are applying for. If in person interviews are required the location will be one of our Exeter sites. However we do hold many interviews remotely via Zoom. These details will be provided in the Interview Invitation.

Again, this depends on the role that you are applying for. Some interviews are 30 minutes others can be for an hour plus presentation and assessment time. Full details will be provided in the Interview Invitation.

Where possible and appropriate we will seek to accommodate an alternative date. However we cannot guarantee this as it is often dependent on multiple panellist availability.

Again this depends on the role however there will always be a minimum of 2 panellists irrespective of the role. For all other roles it can be anywhere between 2 and 5 panel members dependent on the role requirements and the level at which it operates.
