Venue hire prices
- Great Hall: £1,500
Includes venue hire, main table and chairs for a 3-hour ceremony - Jury Room: £750
Includes venue hire, main table and chairs for a 1.5-hour ceremony - Post-ceremony drinks or canapé reception: £180
(Please provide your own drinks and canapés)
All prices are inclusive of VAT.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
Availability
Wedding and civil partnership ceremonies are available Monday to Saturday.
Sunday ceremonies may be available at an additional cost.
Availability is subject to the Guildhall’s civic use, so early enquiry is recommended.
Ceremony time slots
- Great Hall:
3-hour slots from 10am to 1pm or 2pm to 5pm
Alternative times may be available on request. - Jury Room:
1.5-hour slots available throughout the day.
What is included
Venue hire includes:
- Exclusive use of the chosen ceremony space for the booked time
- Main table and chairs for the ceremony
- Access for wedding photography during your booking slot
Important planning information
- You must make a separate booking with the local Registrar before your Guildhall booking can be confirmed
- The Historic Exeter Guildhall is a working civic building and availability may change
- Access within the building is limited due to its historic nature
- Full terms and conditions will be provided as part of the enquiry process
