Please complete an application form and contact us online (select Licensing) to arrange an appointment with a licensing officer.
Payments
You'll be charged a licence fee of for this application.
Fees from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027 are:-
- Up to 3 months Part A £425 (on application) Part B £425
- Up to 6 months Part A £425 (on application) Part B £850
- Up to 9 months Part A £425 (on application) Part B £1,275
- Up to 12 months Part A £425 (on application) Part B £1,700
- Each Additional Vehicle £425

As soon as we have the complete application and all the information we need, we'll accept it. We may circulate your application to the following bodies to ask for comments:
- the police
- trading standards
- the highway authority
- our environmental health service
- local residents and businesses who may be affected by your application may also be consulted before any street trading consent may be granted
The consent will then either be granted and we'll send you our consent in the post or it may be refused or have additional conditions added to it.
Decisions on applications for consents are final and no explanation for refusal is given.
