Domestic Abuse Policy (December 2024 - December 2027)
This Policy sets out how we as Exeter City Council Housing Services
(ECC) will take steps to help and support our tenants, or those living with them,
if they are experiencing or are threatened with any form of domestic abuse; this
includes forced marriage.
This policy explains how Exeter City Council Housing manages electrical safety in its housing stock, including regular inspections, timely repairs, compliance with new regulatory requirements such as Awaab’s Law, and robust record-keeping to ensure homes are safe and risks are addressed promptly.
