Homes for Ukraine Scheme: Grants

Homes for Ukraine Scheme: Grants

Exeter City Council has opened a dedicated Ukraine element within the City Grants programme to support local community activity that benefits Ukrainian residents, families and communities in Exeter. This is funded through the Homes for Ukraine scheme.

This funding is intended to help voluntary, community and not-for-profit organisations deliver activities, services or support that respond to the needs of Ukrainian people living in the city. Applications should demonstrate how the proposed activity will help promote community connection, wellbeing, inclusion, independence or access to local support.

Funding may be used to support activities such as:

  • community-based support for Ukrainian residents and families;
  • activities that reduce isolation and support wellbeing;
  • advice, information or practical support;
  • activities that help people connect with local services and community networks;
  • projects that strengthen inclusion, confidence and participation in Exeter life.

Applications are welcomed from eligible voluntary, community, charitable and not-for-profit organisations. Applicants will need to show that their proposal is deliverable, offers clear community benefit, and meets the requirements of the City Grants programme.

Applications for grant funding will open at points throughout 2026/27
