1. About our evidence base for the emerging Exeter Plan
The Exeter Plan is informed by a detailed evidence base comprising specialist studies on a wide range of issues.
Important update: The City Council submitted the Exeter Plan to the Planning Inspectorate on 26 September 2025 for examination. For the latest library of evidence base documents forming part of the submission of the Exeter Plan, please refer to the Exeter Plan Submission and Examination webpage.
These pages are retained as a record of the evidence base that formed part of the Publication Draft Exeter Plan (Regulation 19) which was consulted on from 12 December 2024 until 6 February 2025.
