6. Postcode allocations
New developments are added by Royal Mail to their ‘Not Yet Built’ File and not their live Postcode Address File (PAF).
An address on the NYB list does not appear on the Royal Mail website address finder nor does it appear on the database as sold to other companies.
To activate newly built properties held in the Not Yet Built File, it is important that you contact Royal Mail approximately two weeks before the properties are due to be occupied.
Requests must be submitted using the Royal Mail online contact form.
