4. Your role as a speaker
Public and councillor speakers are heard before the officer presentation. Each speaker is allowed five minutes. Committee members may then ask clarifying questions (up to five minutes total per speaker).
Speakers may only address material planning considerations (e.g. impact on local amenity, design, highways). Personal or financial matters are not relevant. Speakers are prohibited from introducing new documents or images not previously submitted to the planning officer .
