4. Future Priorities
The second part of the consultation seeks feedback on the priorities and outcomes that will form our new Corporate Plan.
This important document sets out what we want to achieve, and how we plan to achieve it, in the years ahead.
The new plan will replace the existing Corporate Plan published in 2022.
The new Corporate Plan will demonstrate how the Council will deliver its vision for a happy, healthy and fully engaged city in the future.
To deliver on the key priorities, services will focus on setting targets and measuring performance.
The plan will adopt a straightforward and strategic approach with a greater emphasis on the outcomes councillors want to achieve for the city.
The outcomes will be delivered through five key priorities:
- Local economy
- Sustainable environment
- People
- Homes
- A well-run council
In the online survey residents will be asked to rate these priorities and the outcomes linked to them to help establish which are the most important.
