A community-led vision for the future
The Government has announced £20 million of Pride in Place funding for the Heavitree East and Whipton South area of Exeter.
The funding will be invested over 10 years, with local people helping to shape the priorities and guide how the money is spent. A new Neighbourhood Board will bring together residents, councillors, the local MP, community groups, organisations and partners to co-create a long-term Pride in Place Plan.
The programme will focus on building stronger communities, creating thriving places and empowering local people to take a leading role in the future of their neighbourhood.
