Community involvement will be at the heart of the Pride in Place programme.
Residents, community groups, local organisations and businesses will all have opportunities to help shape the future of Heavitree East and Whipton South and influence how funding is invested over the next 10 years.
The programme is designed to be community-led, with local people helping identify priorities, suggest ideas and shape long-term plans for the area. Engagement activities will aim to involve a wide range of voices and ensure that people from all backgrounds and communities have the opportunity to take part.
This will include:
- community conversations and engagement events
- opportunities to share ideas and priorities
- working with local organisations and grassroots groups
- targeted engagement with seldom-heard communities
- regular updates on how community feedback is influencing decisions
Feedback from residents will help inform the development of the 10-year Pride in Place Plan and future investment priorities for the area.
