The SPD provides more detailed guidance on how policy CP7 of the Core Strategy will be implemented. This is in order to deliver affordable homes and to help promote mixed and sustainable communities. Its contents should be considered from the earliest stages of development, including site purchase and residential scheme preparation. The SPD is a material consideration in the determination of planning applications.
