16. Bus and Coach Station development principles (2012)
The Bus and Coach Station Development Principles were drawn up to guide preparation of a development scheme for this area. They allow flexibility in the design layout and mix of uses, whilst ensuring that key principles are delivered. It is intended that the Development Principles be used as a planning guidance document to aid consideration of any planning applications for the site. It should be noted that the this work pre-dated the opening of the new bus and coach station in 2021.
