The householder’s guide SPD provides a refreshed set of principles that guide Exeter homeowners and planning agents in their design of planning proposals for extensions and alterations.
The SPD has been updated to ensure it aligns with current national and local planning policy and guidance and this updated SPD was adopted in April 2024. The SPD is a material consideration in the determination of planning applications. The 2024 document replaces the previous version adopted in 2008.
