3. Liveable Water Lane supplementary planning document (2024)
Water Lane is a strategic brownfield redevelopment area in Exeter and one of the largest sites of the Liveable Exeter initiative.
The Liveable Water Lane SPD provides more detailed guidance on how policy KP6 of the Exeter Local Plan First Review and policy C17 of the Exeter Core Strategy will be implemented.
The SPD includes a vision, development framework and design code to guide the delivery of high quality, co-ordinated redevelopment and placemaking at Water Lane.
The SPD is a material consideration in the determination of planning applications.
The SPD was consulted on in 2023/2024 and adopted in 2024.
